Our Commercial Air Duct Cleaning Process
1. Complete Inspection
Upon arriving at your place of business, our technicians will inspect your HVAC system and ductwork to identify any potential concerns and determine how best to approach the job. They will also find and determine how to access all hot air vents and cold air returns.
2. Prepare the Building for Cleaning
The Modteam will use proper safety measures to protect your business during the cleaning process. They’ll create an access panel in the trunk line in each HVAC system and secure it after cleaning with industrial-grade sheet metal. This allows the panel to be used easily for all future cleanings.
3. Remove Contaminants
Now it’s time to start cleaning! Our team will connect an 8-inch vacuum hose to the access panel and fire up the truck. The vacuum we use is so powerful that dust and debris will immediately begin to make their way to our truck.
We’ll start by cleaning all cold air returns first with our high-pressure tools to push debris and building back toward the vacuum line. Next, we’ll clean all hot air vents to rid them of contaminants.
For exposed ductwork, we’ll make access ports to ensure a thorough cleaning. These ports are resealed after cleaning with industry-approved caps. We’ll also clean your system’s blower compartment.

Standard cleanings remove contaminants you can see with your naked eye, but our air duct sanitizing service treats the ductwork on a molecular level.
