The build-up of dust and debris in your HVAC system causes restrictions and makes your system work overtime to push or pull air through the clogged ductwork. If it has been a while since your last Air Duct Cleaning, your system may be working two to three times as hard as it needs to keep up which turns into higher energy costs. Many business believe that their HVAC company takes care of the ductwork while servicing their systems. This is not always the case. Having your Air Ducts cleaned improves efficiency, which will prolong the life of your furnace, and can even reduce heating and cooling costs!
Your employees are one of the biggest assets to your business or organization. Giving your employees fresher air to breathe without dust and debris means giving them a better experience at work, which can improve productivity, increasing your profits. Healthier breathing staff means fewer call-ins and sick days, which will reduce your overall health costs, saving you money in the long term.
If unattended, dust particles accumulate in your ducts. Those particles recirculate in your workspace. They settle on your office chairs, furniture, floor, and other industrial objects. That means taking extra time to keep your office space clean. Regular cleaning of commercial air ducts prevent pollutants from repeatedly sneaking into your workspaces, keeping it cleaner for a longer time. A cleaner space means less time and resources for cleaning, and more to focus on what’s important to your organization.
You don’t want to customers or potential clients to enter a musky or stuffy space. Your HVAC until pulls in air containing dust, carbon monoxide, and pesticides. Over time, these pollutants accumulate and eventually re-enter your living space through the air ducts. A uncleaned air duct can have the potential to trigger coughs and sneezing. Healthy air ducts often will help eliminate such harmful particles, improve indoor air quality, and protect your customers’ health, and can help reduce unexpected odors caught in the dirt of your ductwork.
We strive to provide not only a quality customer experience, but to also ensure our work follows industry standards as well. At Modernistic, our technicians meticulously follow a National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) approved air duct process to ensure the highest standard for our customers. We are equipped to give each and every building and system we clean the care it needs.
Step 1) Inspect HVAC system and ductwork to identify any potential concerns and determine how to best approach the job.
Step 2) Find and determine how to access all hot air vents and cold air returns.
Step 3) Prepare the areas for cleaning. Your crew will use proper safety measures to protect your business during the cleaning process.
Step 4) Create an access panel in the trunk line in each HVAC system. This panel will be secured after cleaning with industrial-grade sheet metal. This same panel will be used for all future cleanings.
Step 5) Connect 8″ vacuum hose to the access panel and fire up the truck. This is when the cleaning starts. The vacuum itself is so powerful, dust and debris will immediately begin to make their way into our truck.
Step 6) Clean all cold air returns first with high-pressure tools to push debris and buildup back toward the vacuum line.
Step 7) Clean all hot air vents with high-pressure tools to push contaminants back toward the vacuum line.
Step 8) For exposed ductwork, our crew will make access ports to ensure a thorough cleaning. These ports are resealed after cleaning with industry-approved caps.
Step 9) Clean the blower compartment
Step 10) Optional: For customers with health concerns, sanitizing the ductwork is an additional step the crew can take. This is the process of using an ultra-low volume electrostatic fogger to apply an environmentally friendly sanitizer to all ductwork. A standard cleaning removes the contaminants you can see with the naked eye. Sanitizer treats the ductwork on a molecular level.
Modernistic professionally cleans all of the areas listed below including all of the duct work connected to all of the following compartments:
A cleaner ventilation system that runs smoother doesn’t have to work as hard to function properly, which leads to improved efficiency and lower energy costs. Over time dust, debris, dander and other contaminants can clog up filters and vents, which can prevent the free flow of air throughout your commercial building. After the Modernistic technicians complete their air duct cleaning process, your ventilation system will be clean and running more efficiently.
